Authentic Japanese Panko. Always Crispy – Never Hard
There are so many descriptive words used to describe Panko, one of our favorites is from Alex Delany, “little, crispy, airy, Japanese miracles”, which is spot on!
Characteristics of Authentic Japanese Panko are very simple; light and lacey sliver shaped crumbs, adding a light and crispy texture, without an “overly oily” taste – a pure and perfect ingredient.
Can you guess our least favorite description? “Hard” or “dense”. Panko should never be hard or dense. If this has been your experience, we’ve got great news for you – it’s not you, it’s the Panko you’re using. Replace your standard panko with an Authentic Japanese Panko and you’ll never associate hard and dense with panko again.

Strictly adhering to the traditional Japanese methods provide a Panko, which gives your menu items a light, crispy texture without an oily taste or overly hard texture.
Also key, is our simple and clean ingredients. Using only the traditional ingredients, Unbleached Wheat Flour, Organic cane sugar, Yeast and Sea Salt. That’s it – no additives, no preservatives. All of our Panko products are certified GMO Free, vegan, Kosher and Halal.
